The Klinner’s European Adventure

Anthony is in the European wrestling championships today. It is still a different world for is as wrestling does not look anything like the team sports (baseball, basketball, football) that we are used to.

Yep! On the top of the world!! More to follow.

Today is Anthony’s second day of wrestling practice and the whole family turned out to cheer him on. To be honest, we are all pretty clueless when it comes to this sport. All we know is the Great Kalli better watch out; Anthony Klinner is coming to town!!!

Today is Anthony’s first day of wrestling. In fact, this is our families first experience with the sport. It’s amazing how each one of your kids can be completely opposite when it comes to certain things. Jonathan is playing varsity basketball and had a fantastic game Tuesday night.

Kenny gets home from college on Saturday and will be here for a month. We will spend time on the ski slopes having an awesome time. I’m looking forward to having the family all together again.

Hopefully I’ll update this one more time before Christmas (don’t hold your breath ). If not, then we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!

For those that have been following our page updates, you will have noticed that the updates have not happened as frequently as I initially planned.  Lots of excuses, but none worth repeating here.  I now am the proud owner of an iphone 3G and have installed a small program that will allow me to update the website from my phone.  Now all I have to do is figure out how to hook up a usable keyboard to my iphone… Have you ever tried to type on that little screen???

Danine and I just returned from a trip to Washingon DC and Dubuque, Iowa.  We had a great time hanging out with friends and family.  I’ll try and add a few pictures later (don’t be suprised if it doesn’t happen ).

Jonathan and the rest of the family went to Europa Pizzeria today for lunch.

We are really going to update this site. We just added a few pictures that Danine took of our Czech trip.

I’m finally updating the Klinner website. My intent is to keep this updated so that our family in the States can get a glimpse of what is going on with us in Europe.

Anthony was in a play this past week and made the front page of the local newspaper, “The Herald Post”. Cool picture…
